It’s here! We’ve launched the HOA Start Mobile App!
We’re delighted to introduce you to our new HOA Start Mobile App, available immediately from the Apple App Store for your iPhone and iPad, and the Google Play Store for for Android devices.
To help you share this new feature with your Members, we’ve prepared a special announcement you can attach to an e-blast for your community. Click here to download the Mobile App Announcement flyer, complete with a QR code to download the app itself.
When you’re ready to send out your community e-blast, just go to
Membership > Members > Members Actions > Message Filtered Members
in the Admin Dashboard, and activate the second toggle switch to prepare and send out your message. Let your residents know that this exciting new resource is ready for them to use!
If you’re not sure how to position the launch of the new Mobile App to your Members, here’s a suggested message you can use in your e-blast or customize to your liking.

HOA Start has launched its Mobile App, and our community can use it to take our organization with us wherever we go.
To help you understand what the new Mobile App can do, we’ve attached an illustrated information sheet that shows you many of its popular features. It also includes a QR code you can scan to download the Mobile App onto your iPhone, iPad, or Android device.
Remember that if you have not yet created a password and logged in to our website, you will need to do that first. If you have questions, please let us know.
Looking for help resources to guide you through your use of the new Mobile App? You’ll find a complete section of FAQ resources on our online Help system. We’ve also created an illustrated Quick Reference Guide, which you can download from the Resources page of the HOA Start website.
And that’s not all! In addition to our Mobile App, we’ve also debuted several additional features that we’re confident you’ll find invaluable.
First, our Member and Household Wallets enable you to set up payment credits and handle back balances that Households and Members owe.
Member and Household Wallets provide an easy-to-use way to carry positive payment balances forward so residents can use them to pay dues. Wallets also generate one-off invoices so Admins can add past balances to the system and collect monies owed. Admins can import positive or negative amounts via CSV files, or add transactions manually through the Admin Dashboard. A single Member or Household Wallet import file can include both positive amounts for Wallet balances and negative amounts to generate one-off invoices.
We’ve built a complete section of FAQ documents for this new feature, along with a pair of illustrated Quick Reference Guides, one for Member Wallets and one for Household Wallets, which you’ll find on the Resources page of the HOA Start website.
We’ve also updated our Financials beta feature with a completely revised Chart of Accounts page, and a brand-new AR Dashboard that shows you all your late receivables and gives you searchable analytics for a deeper look at what your residents owe.
